She Wildin’ – Fabolous (feat. Chris Brown): Song of the Day 12/25

A few weeks ago Eric Bellinger decided to put a twist on the classic hit “Oochie Wally”. Now right on his heels is Fabolous who is also trying his hand at Nas’ single with his own new track, “She Wildin'”.

The party anthem from Fabolous’ Christmas-released album The Young OG Project, “She Wildin'” brings back Chris Brown to join Fab as the perfect artist to handle the track’s chorus. But make no mistake, Fabolous is rarely out-shined on his own songs and “She Wildin'” is no different this time around.

Ayo – Chris Brown & Tyga: Song of the Day 12/17

When the first Fan of a Fan dropped in 2010, the mixtape served as a breakthrough project for Tyga and a return to power for Chris Brown. Now nearly five years later the dynamic duo is back with “Ayo”, the first single from their long awaited sequel.

Originally planned to be released in January, “Ayo” comes a couple weeks early as a Christmas gift for fans who have been waiting a long time for Fan of a Fan 2. Despite the four year layoff, Breezy and Tyga’s chemistry is palpable still on “Ayo” which will serve as a nice tease of what’s to come from these two.

Post To Be – Omarion (feat. Chris Brown & Jhene Aiko): Song of the Day 11/19

Since signing to MMG, Omarion has provided a handful of guest verses and released a couple well received mixtapes. But now after releasing his new single “Post To Be”, it appears Omarion is ready to drop his first album since 2010.

It may be one the few tracks off Sex Playlist which includes guest features, so Omarion made sure not to skimp at all. He did this by bringing in the most popular producer of the year, DJ Mustard, to provide the beat and then Chris Brown and Jhene Aiko to collaboration with on Omarion’s most promising song in years.

WIth each one of their remixes, Chris Brown and Trey Songz have given a facelift to some of the hottest tracks in circulation. And to finish out their mini mixtape, the R&B superstars are taking back to the hood with the “Made Me (Remix)”

The original track brought Snootie Wild out of obscurity and now that Breezy and Trigga have hopped on his unbelievably catchy “Made Me” joint, Wild’s stock has continued to rise. But once again it is the heavyweight duo who have taken over the competition’s own track to make it their own.

24 Hours – Chris Brown & Trey Songz: Song of the Day 10/10

While there still has not been an official announcement on their joint tour, but after what Chris Brown and Trey Songz released today it has to be close. After remixing a couple of the hottest joints on the radio already, these two R&B stars are now taking on “24 Hours”.

Part of the four track mini mixtape TRGAxBRZY which Brown dropped on his Soundcloud page, “24 Hours” is another remix which this combo absolutely slays. While TeeFLii has made a name for himself with the original version, it really is hard to compete with two of the best in the game.

F**k Yo Feelings – The Game (feat. Lil Wayne & Chris Brown): Song of the Day 10/6

After the tracklist from Year of the Wolf was revealed, there were all sorts of collaborations fans were looking forward to from The Game. One of the biggest brings together three of the names who will be dominating the music scene for the rest of 2014 on “F** Yo Feelings”.

The Game, Lil Wayne and Chris Brown have all worked together on hits in the past and on “F**k Yo Feelings” they are looking to do it again. While Weezy’s hook is slightly underwhelming, Game and Breezy both drop dope bars to heighten this standout track.

Songs On 12 Play – Chris Brown (feat. Trey Songz): Song of the Day 9/25

When it comes to young R&B artists, they all seem to have one thing in common. They were influenced by R. Kelly. This included both Chris Brown and Trey Songz who decided to show their admiration for Kells with a few “Songs On 12 Play”.

With them heading out on tour very soon, expect to be hearing quite a lot of “Songs On 12 Play” in the near future. Melding titles of some of Kelly’s most famous hits into the lyrics, Breezy and Trigga put together a slow jam of which the master of the bedroom ballad would be proud.

Autumn Leaves – Chris Brown (feat. Kendrick Lamar): Song of the Day 9/22

Between his personal controversies and his multiple musical styles, its always difficult to predict which direction Chris Brown will take in any aspect of his life. This is easily seen on arguably the most anticipated track from X, “Autumn Leaves”, which certainly takes a different route than expected with this heavyweight collaboration.

With the talents of Breezy and Kendrick Lamar on the same track, there are a plethora of musical opportunities the duo could have explored. However, when the world learned these two were teaming up on “Autumn Leaves” few could have expected this somber relationship-themed roller coaster which will dive deeper than Brown has in years.

Drunk Texting – Chris Brown (feat. Jhene Aiko): Song of the Day 9/19

When to drinks are flowing everything is usually good until the phones are pulled out. Chris Brown seems to know the repercussions of “Drunk Texting” his former girl but not enough to not make a song about it.

One of the most highly anticipated tracks from Breezy’s newly released album X, “Drunk Texting” is quite the massive duet. Brown is joined by Jhene Aiko who sings right along with Breezy instead of taking the verse for verse approach which make “Drunk Texting” unique to album.
