Between putting out an instantly classic album and being featured on tracks by seemingly every other hot artist spanning multiple genres, Kendrick Lamar has become the hottest name in hip-hop in a blink of an eye. Now he is back and to turn heads again with his brand new single “i”.
More than anything else, “i” serves as a separation for Kendrick from GKMC. With classic sample from Isley Brother’s hit “That Lady”, “i” has a much more upbeat vibe than anything Kendrick has released before and while fans will certainly debate over whether this is the right direction for KDot, “i” will become a hit for sure.

Between his personal controversies and his multiple musical styles, its always difficult to predict which direction Chris Brown will take in any aspect of his life. This is easily seen on arguably the most anticipated track from X, “Autumn Leaves”, which certainly takes a different route than expected with this heavyweight collaboration.
With the talents of Breezy and Kendrick Lamar on the same track, there are a plethora of musical opportunities the duo could have explored. However, when the world learned these two were teaming up on “Autumn Leaves” few could have expected this somber relationship-themed roller coaster which will dive deeper than Brown has in years.

Only hours after dropping his highly anticipated album Seen It All, Young Jeezy decided to make the day even more special. Out of left field he brought in one of the hottest rappers in the game for the official “Holy Ghost (Remix)”.
Jeezy’s name has been on everyone lips all day. Between the praise for his album and recruiting Kendrick Lamar for the “Holy Ghost (Remix)” it would be hard to not have taken notice. K. Dot has been quite of late but comes back in a big way with this joint which will make some wonder why it was not included on any version of Seen It All.

He started out his procession towards his debut album with a bang when he dropped “23”. However, since then Mike Will Made It has been relatively quiet but not any longer as he drops off his brand new single, “Buy The World”.
One of the biggest perks of producing tracks for some of the gigantic names in the business is that you have the power to bring some of them in for one huge track. For “Buy The World”, Mike decided to bring in three of the biggest with Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar and Future and over his production they only thrive as usual.

When it comes to remixes for top tracks they usually come quick and come often. This was seen for Miguel’s “How Many Drink” as Kendrick Lamar decided to join in on the party. But now, over a year since the track was originally released, Rick Ross is doing his own remix to the Miguel single.
While keeping the rest of the track intact, Rozay had his own touch of “bossness” to the “How Many Drinks (Remix)”. Ross waists no time, opening up his MMG Mix, and gets right to the dirty talk with the girl he is asking “How Many Drinks” will it take to be his.

As an artist it is impossible to please everyone. Whether or not the piece of work is amazing, someone out there is going to despise it and voice their opinion about it. But there are very few times when people think about how “Fragile” the feelings are for MC’s like Tech N9ne who have to deal with these criticisms.
With thoughtful lyrics throughout, “Fragile” has Tech N9ne and company slamming those who make their money judging others. Kendrick Lamar, ¡MAYDAY! and Kendall Morgan fill out this hefty lineup and contribute to one of the most powerful tracks off N9na’s Something Else.

There were many great moments at the GRAMMYs last night but none were talked about as much as the collaboration between Imagine Dragons and Kendrick Lamar. During the performance Kendrick opened with “M.A.A.D. City” and then jumped on the “Radioactive (Remix)” which was released today as a single.
K. Dot has collaborated with numerous artists over the last year to expand his audience, but “Radioactive (Remix)” might prove to have the largest reach. Kendrick offers up a spirited remix of this already powerful track and will have even more people scratching their heads wondering how this man did not win a single award yesterday.
