With “Drunk In Love” taking over urban radio, Beyonce‘s run since dropping her self-titled album has not slowed down a bit. On the pop side, Beyonce is looking to “Blow” up the charts with help from some of the biggest names in the business today.

Yonce did not just bring in mega producer Timbaland in to produce this old school funk joint, but she also decided to have Justin Timberlake, Pharrell and James Fauntleroy co-write “Blow”. Know Bout Me – Timbaland (feat. Drake, Jay-Z & James Fauntleroy): Song of the Day 11/15

2013 has been a busy year for Timbaland. He had a key hand in the production of Jay-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail and was the mastermind to behind the boards on every track featured on both Justin Timberlake 20/20 Experiences. After working so hard on other people’s music, Timbaland has finally turned to his own work and released his first single from Textbook Timbo, “Know Bout Me”.

With this year being somewhat of a revival to Timbaland’s career, it is only fitting that he question what everyone thinks they “Know Bout Me”. While Timbo brings in some top features for the track – Jay-Z for the into, Drake for a verse and James Fauntleroy for the outro – this is Timbaland’s song. Unlike any of his work thus far in 2013, Timbaland’s voice is the focus. While his rhymes have never been his strongest asset, “Know Bout Me” does reveal that Timbo is not about to fall off again anytime soon.

Cabaret – Justin Timberlake (feat. Drake): Song of the Day 10/2

It has been clearly noted that Justin Timberlake‘s new main man is Jay-Z.  They collaborated for two mega-hits already this year and went on one of the highest-selling tours of the year. While these two did do another track together for The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, it is the albums only other collaboration which is the ultimate highlight.

To put on a great “Cabaret” it usually takes more than one performer and with JT bringing in Drake for the most hyped track off 2 of 2, two of the highest-selling artist of 2013 are together for one huge hit. Drizzy provides and extended 24 bars for “Cabaret” while Timberlake once again gets the classy party going over Timbo’s production. While 2 of 2 is not expected to come close to the sales of its predecessor, once “Cabaret” becomes a single, expect the music world to go insane.

TKO – Justin Timberlake: Song of the Day 9/20

After his extended hiatus, Justin Timberlake really knocked his fans out with the first instalment of The 20/20 Experience. So far he has ruled 2013 but even JT can hit the mat. But it is this special girl who made Justin “TKO”.

The second single from The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2, “TKO” has a sound more similar to the tracks found on Future Sex/Love Sounds than anything on the original 20/20. However, JT’s flow is truly infectious over more extended production from Timbaland. If he hasn’t knocked you out so far this year, “TKO” will surely have you crashing to the ground.

Tunnel Vision – Justin Timberlake: Song of the Day 6/12

It’s hard to imagine that it is closing in on the three month anniversary of The 20/20 Experience‘s release. One of the top albums of the year so far, 20/20 has produced two mega singles already and Justin Timberlake is ready to unleash a third and he has his “Tunnel Vision” on to make it just as big as it’s predecessors.

Unlike “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors”, JT’s newest single “Tunnel Vision” relies heavily on Timbaland’s technology-based production. Strutting the edge of dark and ominous, “Tunnel Vision” is all about the power of a beautiful woman and how she can make a man forget about everything else in the world. Like most of the other tracks on 20/20, “Tunnel Vision” is much longer than a normal single so don’t expect to hear the entire song when this joint takes over the radio.
