With one of the few classic albums in rap history under his belt, it is not surprising that Nas has been able to adapt and adjust 
his sound throughout his career. But now as a veteran in the game it is always good to hear Nasir return to his old school roots as he does on “The Season”.
Handed a trumpet-laden beat from the late J Dilla which would of fit right in during the 90’s, Nas feels at home on “The Season”. There is no word yet on a larger project from Nas but “The Season” is a clear reminder that Nas is a legend in the game for a reason.
