Although G-Unit head man, 50 Cent, has been critisized about every album since his debut, his most recent mixtape The Big 10 reminded so many of Get Rich or Die Tryin’ that 50 has decided to release another mixtape on May 15.
The lead single from The Lost Tape, “Remain Calm”, brings together features from both 50’s past and present. Snoop Dogg drops some solid bars, reminding fans of his verse on “P.I.M.P”. Joining Snoop and 50 is Precious Paris, 50’s newest project, who will be soon battling it out with Nicki Minaj for top female in the game in the future.
Despite the features, 50 is the centerpiece on the “Remain Calm” table. His sound continues to be reminisent of 2003 and his rise will continue if The Lost Tape is anything like this lead single.
